Aimee Pham is a Vietnamese American writer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles.
In 2022, Aimee wrapped production on House Rules, a short film she wrote and co-directed about young adulthood, sexuality, and overcoming generational and cultural differences. It premiered at the Seattle Asian American Film Festival, where it won the Audience Choice Award for Favorite Narrative Short. The film has screened at numerous film festivals across the United States and will be screened at the Brooklyn Museum in May 2024 in honor of Asian American Heritage Month.
She currently assists the writer’s room of an upcoming Netflix limited series and most recently was working in development with writer/director Lulu Wang and producer Dani Melia at their production company Local Time (The Farewell, Expats).
As the child of Vietnamese immigrants, Aimee is passionate about telling stories that are daring, vulnerable, and explore the nuances of the Asian American experience.
